I live in AZ my parents are mexican and when my dad came to USA he came illegally but then he got his Green card but did lots of things such as driving drunk and he was the right hand of a drug dealer. So he got caught in a drug deal with undercover cops this was like in the year 97 but since he was a resident he was out soon. And on the same year police arrested him again due to some law that was passed and he was gonna have to face sometime in jail and he did like 2years and was deported to mexico for life so now that I'm older I want to know if there is a way that I can fix this so he can come back to USA since he is older and has change? And as for my mom she was in process to get her papers but since this all happend and she was getting this legalized throught my dad and he just needed to signed for her is there something I can do? Now the law makes no statement about race, skin color, language or any other aspect that can be construed a racist. But seriously, who's more likely to get stopped over and over again the White blonde guy or the tanned guy, its racial profiling.Now Hispanics are going to feel discriminated because they are the ones being stopped all the time, while the others "the white skinned people" don't even have to worry about being stopped just because they are white skinned.
Its racist if you use common sense, but its really discriminatory since lets say cop sees a white skinned man walking around(the cop doesn't know but the white man is in the USA illegally from Canada) the cop is not going to go after the white man since he might think its just some other white american, but if the cop sees a tan skinned person walking around he is more likely to approach the tan skinned person since this law was made to take all the Mexicans out of Arizona, so lets say the cop stops the tanned skinned guy and asks for papers and the guy is a legal Hispanic American, while the other guy the white skinned guy is still roaming around in the USA illegally since everyone thinks hes American just because hes white.
The law will divide the local/state police and the hispanic community. The police aren't the ones for this job as it takes away there real job, there's already ICE, leave it to ICE to stop illegal immigration.
Illegal Immigrants may come to fear the police, and not contact them in situations of emergency or in instances where they have valuable knowledge of a crime. Lets say a White Blonde American woman has a deadly car wreck running into a telephone pole and there's no way she can call for help, but there's a person at the scene but this person is an illegal immigrant but hes the witness of the crash but he cant call 911 and help the dying woman out her misery just because he will be then deported, so there's nothing that can be done but leave the woman burning to her death.
Or lets say there's a very weird guy walking around very suspiciously in downtown Phoenix, he has a big backpack full of bombs(hes a terrorist getting ready to blow up Phoenix), the guy stops at a mailbox and looks like hes throwing stuff in, there's a brown skinned guy watching him and he know something is not right and starts running away now can he call 911 and report the destruction that's about to happen and save millions of live, no because he is an illegal and will be deported, so there's nothing that can be done but let Phoenix blow up and let millions die.
The Federal Government has control over Immigration laws and therefore it will be blocked.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. It is the hottest city in the USA, today we had temperatures of 108 F.I have mostly French ancestry, some of my genes might've been necessary in Europe, but they are useless in Phoenix.
I used to be very hairy like most French guys. Body hair might've been useful in cold weathers for my ancestors, but they can kill someone from heat fainting in 110 degree weathers. Around 4 years ago, I had laser hair removal all over my body: my chest, stomach, legs, butt, back, bikini line.
If hair was meant for survival in cold weather, being hairless is meant for survival in hot weather.
I know France experienced famine during several periods of its History. Maybe that's the reason I used to have a belly impossible to get rid of with both diet and exercise. I've never drunk a beer in my life, I used to always be on a diet, and I've been on a swim team for over 15 years, yet I was never able to get rid of my belly. Maybe that belly was used as emergency nutrients in times of famine, but that's totally unnecessary in America today. When diet and exercise don't work, you got nothing else but liposuction.
Having a belly to store nutrients should be considered as vestigial tail. It's useless, and it's something that shouldn't be on one's body.

Why are people so quick to criticize a market in Phoenix?
They are a new franchise. Phoenix recently passed Philly as the 5th largest city in the USA, they are still the fastest growing city in the USA. The point is, the potential of a hockey team in the middle of a desert suddenly becomes HUGE. Anyways, the whole key to Phoenix Coyotes gaining popularity is wins. That is why the NHL wants more parity. They want the Yotes to become winners and hopefully this season is no fluke. If Dallas and San Jose can have strong hockey markets, Phoenix can become one of the biggest in the US. Winning sells. Once the Coyotes start winning...like the Pens and Caps before them...we will not be able to shut their fans up.San Jose and Dallas are both in the southwest of the US and they have fairly large fanbases. The reason why Phoenix has garnered so much loss is because they have not won at all in those 10 years. People don't pay to see a new team lose. They can easily put people in seats based off of a guy like Shane Doan and a goalie like Bryzgalov.
If Crosby had no other players and the Pens lost all the time (like Doan experienced with the Yotes for so many years) he would not be talked about all that much. Phoenix is starting to get young, good players and Doan has the personality and playing style to sell seats. But the requirement as it is with the Pens and Caps is to win.

Hyping a player up is overrated. The NFL is a prime example as to why this is true. If a hyped up player does not succeed...people forget about him. I don't recall Jamarcas Russell, Brady Quinn, or Matt Leinart being praised as they were when they entered the NFL. If Crosby's Pens didn't do good...he would have fallen into the Rick Nash realm. Alright just because Doan won't come in and make a place immediately sell out...if a team is winning, a player like Doan is the person they put on the billboard. He is the player that everybody likes. Similar to what Bobby Clarke did to Philly. He is the man that keeps people's attention. The guy people tell stories to their kids and get their kids into the team. That is the guy they have in Doan. If they can get that team to win consistently, then they will have at least a fair fanbase til the next players roll around. Point is once they start winning, in a city that big, you cannot deny that a large fanbase will follow. I would take the teams out of Carolina and Tampa Bay before the one in Phoenix because those are cities about the size of Pittsburgh. They are not big enough.
I know both Tampa and Carolina have won a cup. But they do not have large fanbases because their cities are too small and southern. However when you get a large southern city such as Dallas, you CAN make a good fanbase if the team wins consistently. I would move Tampa and Carolina before Phoenix, Florida (Miami), and Atlanta due to the sheer size differences. Tampa and Carolina are nearly impossible to get a great hockey fanbase whereas Miami, Atlanta, and Phoenix all have a larger potential of getting a good fanbase.
I said 5th largest city, never did I say they are the 5th largest sports market. I am saying they can potentially become a large sports market due to the size of their city. More people = More potential for a larger market.
I talk about the size of the city because more people means there are more potential fans. It doesn't matter that the arena only holds so many people as that is not the only place sales come from. You have to remember merchandise. A larger city has a higher chance of success than a smaller city because they can (when they are winning and thus people are watching) sell more merchandise, make more money, and down the line build a bigger arena for more people.
Comparing any expansion team to any original 6 team is absolutely foolish no matter the size of the city or the state of the economy. I am comparing expansion teams to expansion teams or teams in a similar location. AKA teams trying to get large fanbases rather than teams with established ones. Tampa and Carolina don't sell too many tickets and most the tickets they do sell are to opposing fans. Phoenix has a chance to beat both their sales mainly because they have a LARGER targeted audience. You don't sell seats after 1 winning season. The team needs to consistently win. Now people in Phoenix recognize their team as they actually sold alot of seats in the playoffs. If they can follow that up with another good year then another, the Coyotes may start sliding onto the map. However, it is all business. I bet if Mark Cuban took over the Coyotes, he would do something very similar to what he did to the Mavs. Take the worst fanbase and make a large one.
Well most Philly fans actually take 45 minutes to get to their games, since the majority of them are from the suburbs and they always have to go through rush-hour traffic to get there.
It is too hot to watch a baseball game in Phoenix. People would pass out before the 5th inning. As a matter of fact...the Diamondbacks and the Marlins both have higher attendance during spring training because it is cooler.

How easy is it for a Canadian to buy a vacation home in the USA?
I've always wanted a second home somewhere warm for the winter. Living in Canada is great, but I have never been a fan of our winters that seem to last forever. Right now, the Canadian dollar is almost at par with the US dollar, and housing is very inexpensive in the Phoenix area. However, I am concerned about taxes, fees, etc. that I may not be expecting.
