Misdemeanor for Excceding Speed limit in AZ; Can it effect employment for new Job ? Please help?
In November 2008 the Camera Monitor in Phoenix AZ caught me and said I was exceeding 85 mph; This was photo enforcement and it was the consensus not to go to court unless served and the cameras were taking down in July 2010. I was just made an offer for a new job pending my criminal back-ground check. I conducted one of the cheap back-ground online searches and it shows a misdemeanor for me in the criminal traffic charge. The claim amount shows zero. What does this mean and how will the company look at this. My job is environmental engineer, should I be worried.I have been told by many that most traffic tickets are either in-fractures or misdemeanor. I thought that companies were only concerned about felonies ?

I lived here most of my life. I am lucky if I can ride my bike 5 miles on level without wheezing. I recently went on a trip back to the outskirts of Pittsburg. I rode 23 miles on up and down incline , and in sand without any distress at all.Also I read this:

Will I get points on my driving record for a camera speed traps in Tucson?
Hi, I just got a ticket for a camera speed trap (51 in a 40 mph zone) here in Tucson. I am deciding on paying or going to traffic school. I had previously gotten TWO speed trap tickets near Phoenix and I did not get any points on my record for those. It wasn't an error, I called the court, paid over the phone, and the clerk on the phone told me specifically that there will be no points added to my driving record.I believe the regulations differ by county, so my question is for people who have gotten speed trap photo tickets in Tucson (or rather Pima county): do you know if I will get points on my record if I just pay the ticket without going to defensive driving school?

PHOENIX - In the sweltering summer heat here Wednesday, a group of Colorado conservatives promised legislative action next spring to be modeled after Arizona's controversial crackdown on illegal immigration.Led by Sen. Kevin Lundberg, the Republican Study Committee of Colorado, a group of the Capitol's most conservative lawmakers, is visiting with the Arizona legislator, Sen. Russell Pearce, who wrote SB 1070 and with other GOP lawmakers who helped him pass it earlier this year.
The law, now subject to a legal challenge from the Justice Department, makes it a misdemeanor to be caught by police without papers documenting legal U.S. residency or citizenship. Criticized as "racial profiling," the measure, signed into law back in April, has put the issue of illegal immigration front and center in this fall's midterm elections.
In Colorado, Republicans know they'll have a better chance to pass a tough Arizona-style law if they can win back legislative majorities in November.
"Our job as elected officials is to see who they send to the legislature as elected officials and then implement the best policies we can," Lundberg said. "And for those who are standing here today, our intention is to be there in January and get the job done."
But the group's presence in Arizona in August smacks of a political photo-op to Eric Sondermann, an independent political analyst based in Denver.
"It's a long ways to go for a photo opp, but that's ultimately what it is," he said. "I have no idea what meetings are taking place, but I have a hard time imagining that there's anything being substantively discussed which couldn't be done via email, via a conference call -- even get on Skype do whatever you want.
"I think this is all about playing it as a political issue and getting news stories such as the one we doing at the moment discussing it," Sondermann said.
Polls show that a majority of Coloradans, as well as Americans, approve of SB 1070. Latino groups, however, have condemned the law; and the Colorado-based "Mi Familia Vota" wants the RSCC to know that their redoubling their efforts to register more Latinos to vote.
"I've seen polls saying it's two-to-one in terms of voter approval of voters liking it and wanting Colorado to do something in a similar vein," Sondermann said. "Over the longer term, it's much more of a mixed bag given that Republicans clearly are on a path of antagonizing large elements of the fastest-growing constituency in this country."
But, the lawmakers who came to Arizona -- all of them, paying their own way -- promise they're not here because of political calculations but, to the contrary, their individual convictions and a shared belief that Arizona's law should serve as a model to other states.
"In the state of Colorado, our intention is to do the same, to fix the problems not just turn a blind eye," Lundberg said. "That's what we're here today, to help accomplish. Our legislature will reconvene in January, we will be prepared with legislation that will make a meaningful difference to the issue of illegal immigration in the state of Colorado."

My permanent green card will expire next year, so I have been reading up on the renewal process. I will mail my I-90, along with a copy of my current green card and a check for $370 to USCIS in Phoenix, AZ.However, I remember last time (about 10 years ago), I also had to submit a couple of photos (Ten years ago I went to what was then INS and submitted everything in person). Do I need to include the photos with my I-90? Will they take pictures at the biometrics appointment when they take my fingerprints? Or do I need to bring recent photos to my biometrics appointment?

I am a Phoenix photographer but have a bride and groom that want to take their pictures in a cooler setting considering it's averaging 108* here in the valley so we were thinking flagstaff. I don't live there and I've never done a shoot there before so I'm hoping to find a few good locations to check out before I drive the 2 hours to just wander and hope I find something decent.Pytanie #22:
Need recommendations on a good macro flash for D5000?
I purchased a Nikon D5000 a couple months ago and am getting more into macro photography (mostly insects and reptiles). I just bought a Tamron 90 lens for macro but would also like a better flash than what is built into the camera body. Not only that, but with the Tamron 90 fully extended, much of the light from the pop-up flash is blocked from the extended lens. I have a tripod and use it when possible, but I want whatever flash I buy to be practical when I'm handholding my camera.So...the options I'm currently considering are:
Nikon SB600
Sigma EM-140 ring flash
Nikon R1 wireless
Phoenix SmartFlash RF-46N
The Phoenix unit is only $100 but is only rated for 100-200 flashes. Even if that's the case and it's not built like a tank, it's tempting. But it lists a spec of having an angle of coverage of 50mm. What does this mean for someone like me that will be using a 90mm lens on 1.6x body?
The Nikon R1 is the most expensive and looks like quite the monstrosity. Doesn't look very handheld friendly. This is probably the one that I am least considering, but haven't ruled it out.
The Sigma is looking pretty decent. Reasonably priced and I favor the ring design the most for macro work.
Finally, the SB600. I've never used it but I worry that the fully extended Tamron 90 lens would partially block it when taking macro photos of a subject that is only a few inches away from the end of the lens. Of course, this worry is off the top of my head because I've never actually used it. Nikon rates it as being good from 14-85mm. Would the additional 5mm on my Tamron 90 cause a problem?
The Phoenix unit brings up another question...how many flashes are Sigma and Nikon units rated for? Anyone know? Only the el cheapo Phoenix is up front about the lifespan. I'm assuming when a flash burns out, the whole unit is dead? You can't replace the bulbs?
The last issue is compatibility with my D5000. It seems that there are compatibility issues with certain flashes and camera bodies (as far as whether TTL will work, or if the flash has to be set manually, etc.). Are any of these more compatible or less compatible than the others?

My friend and I are looking into going on a road trip around the entire country (united states). Literally...around. We haven't quite finished the route yet (as you'll see from the photo) but we are pretty certain on what cities we want to visit. This will be roughly a month long trip, so we'll need a lot to keep us busy while driving. Of course we haven't decided on everything and nothing is set in stone yet. So what I'm wondering is: What are some really cool places along the route we've made that we could stop and see along the way? Are there any really awesome towns that we should drive through or somewhere we should stop and visit? All input is welcome! But he's a better player.
Kobe can do everything Michael did, and even a few things Michael couldn't do.
Kobe is just as good a defender. His killer instinct is just as pronounced. He can shoot, finish and explode. And just like Jordan, the more he's pissed off, the more unstoppable he is.
At the very least, Kobe's scoring spree over the last week should put to rest any lingering doubts that he's the best player in the NBA. Yes, better than Steve Nash, who is the best point guard, but not the lethal force that Kobe is. Yes, better than Dwyane Wade, who is certainly closer to the Kobe-Jordan level than LeBron James, but D-Wade's game is not as polished as Kobe's.
Kobe's streak of four straight 50-points-plus games is something none of those players can do, and it's something that hasn't been done since Wilt Chamberlain, who had an NBA-record seven straight 50-point games. Truthfully, Kobe should have tacked another 50 on Golden State on Sunday night.
Of course, the idea that Kobe is better than Jordan -- or even the best player in this league -- is as repugnant to some folks as a rectal exam. Even though Kobe has proven himself under pressure countless times, he gets the A-Rod treatment.
Kobe can't please anyone. And it doesn't help that most people suffer from revisionist history when it comes to Jordan, forgetting that he was just as poor a teammate and a ball hog and that he ran off coach Doug Collins like Kobe ran off Phil Jackson the first time.
In fact, you could argue that Jordan was even worse. Far as we know, Kobe hasn't jacked up any of his teammates the way Jordan punched out Steve Kerr and Will Perdue at practice.
Kobe will never be forgiven for Shaq's departure, but you're delusional if you think Jordan wouldn't have had any ego issues playing alongside a player with Shaq's star power.
The best-player argument shouldn't be determined by personal dislike. But if you want to take it there, fine. Jordan was hardly the ideal husband, but only the tabloids were brave enough to venture into his personal life. And what about those gambling issues? If Jordan's life had been covered like Kobe's, we would have an entirely different opinion of His Airness.
Besides a different level of media scrutiny, there was definitely a difference in the level of competition during Jordan's heyday compared to now.

We ask you to step back and take an objective look. Isn't Kobe the best player in the NBA?
Yesterday's NBA player certainly was more fundamentally sound, but there's no question that today's player is bigger, stronger and faster. When Jordan played, he was a singular force that could not be equaled. Jordan was guarded by the likes of John Starks and Joe Dumars, who were fine players but weren't nearly as skilled or physically imposing as LeBron, D-Wade, Tracy McGrady or even Vince Carter.
The NBA is tougher now.
Kobe, like Michael, is surrounded with mediocre to below-average talent, and Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio are all better than the Utah, Portland and the Charles Barkley-led Phoenix team that Michael met in the NBA Finals.
Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson and Patrick Ewing will be among the best centers ever, but none of them affected the league the way Shaq and Tim Duncan have. There are two two-time MVPs in Kobe's own conference (Duncan, Nash), which is a problem Jordan never faced during his championship runs. Seven-footers weren't launching 3s back then. Magic Johnson and the Lakers were on a downward spiral, and the Pistons were on their last legs. It was Michael and everyone else. That's not the case for Kobe.
The shame of it is that Kobe might finish his career without a MVP, even though his ability can be compared only to that of Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. All this time we've been looking for a player who is better than Jordan, but most of us can't get beyond whether we like or dislike Kobe as a person to recognize his contributions to the game.
Ultimately the MVP award will go to either Nash or Dirk Nowitzki, who are deserving this season, but neither are as good as Kobe. Dallas and Phoenix are strong enough to make the playoffs without their stars. The Lakers, however, are a lottery team without Kobe.

Do they scan your passport at the airport the same way they do at the border?
A friend of mine is down here in the US from Canada and the only form of photo ID she has is a passport, which due to being stolen, and then returned is no longer valid for travel. By this I mean, she had to call and report the passport as stolen and even though it has been returned to her, they can't undo it being reported so if it is scanned, it will come up as not valid for travel. Hopefully that makes sense to who ever is reading this. Anyway, she has to travel to LA now to the Canadian embassy to get a new passport, but to do so quickly at all would mean flying from Phoenix to LA, but we are unsure on if she can even fly with it. Do they just look at your picture and name and make sure it matches up or do they scan it like when you go across the border? Or can anyone suggest who to call to ask about this? The airlines all seem to be out sourcing now and I had no luck reaching someone who could understand let alone answer my question.Ok the person who did answer first did not at all answer my question so maybe I was not clear enough. She is NOT going over any border. She needs to fly from Phoenix Arizona where we are right now to California where the closest Canadian embassy is located so she can get a new passport from them before going over the border.

In 2006, when Pearce was caught forwarding an anti-Semitic e-mail to his supporters -- an e-mail from the neo-Nazi National Alliance, even Republicans bagged on him.

i've already asked this before but no one gave me a good answer so i want to ask again because this is really important and i need them ASAP.i have these really important pictures which i've deleted because i accidentally reformatted my camera's memory card so i need a really good image recovery software that can recovery most (if not all) of my pictures.
i've already tried demos of a bunch of softwares like Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery, Disk Doctors Digital Media Recovery and Derescue but they still weren't able to restore the pictures as far as i wanted. i want a software that could restore my pictures further.
oh and btw, my camera's still new so it hasn't been used that much..

i have these really important pictures which i've deleted because i accidentally reformatted my camera's memory card so i need a really good image recovery software that can recovery most (if not all) of my pictures.i've already tried demos of a bunch of softwares like Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery, Disk Doctors Digital Media Recovery and Derescue but they still weren't able to restore the pictures as far as i wanted. i want a software that could restore my pictures further.
oh and btw, my camera's still new so it hasn't been used that much..

What the heck is wrong with my XD memory card?
It has all of my photos from graduation. When I try to review them on my camera (it's an olympus, I don't know if that makes a difference) it tells me that the card must be formatted. Formatting the card will delete all of my pictures. My graduation was yesterday so i haven't had the chance to get them to my computer yet. So That's really not good.So I plugged the card into my computer and the first thing i notice is that the card is now renamed in some sort of foreign language and that it shows up in red. So that's what it does now. It never showed up in red before, it's always been green and now the file is renamed and I don't know why.

It was fine yesterday. My memory card and camera were both fine last night and now I don't know what's wrong. I've scanned the card to try to find errors and nothing came up. I need these pictures, all of my graduation photos are on it. I feel like my only choice is to format the card but if i do that then i lose the pictures.

Nudist resorts in USA must be legal cause we’ve had one north of Phoenix for thousands of years. From time-to-time I have seen promos and mag photos of nude families including children enjoying other families (junk blurred out) at what appeared to be one of these resorts. Is it legal for health or other reasons to have nude children and nude adults swimming and playing volleyball? I got a speeding ticket in Phoenix,AZ at 11:49 PM. The speed limit was 55 and I was at 66 mph. Is there any way I can fight for this ticket. They have my picture and video online.
