Polo wraps for trailering?

I am moving Phoenix to a new barn next Tuesday, and I was told by one person not to bother with shipping boots or wrapping his legs and another person said I should use either polo wraps or sport boots on hm. It is only about a half an hour away but we do have to take the high way for about 5 or 6 exits. I was thinking just to save time and give myself peace of mind i would put his smb II boots on the front and wrap his back legs. What do you think? Should I wrap all four, do the boots & wrap the back, or not wrap at all?
I dont have any pillow wraps, out of curiosity what difference do they make?

Shaq, a 15x all-star and 4-time world champion, is considered one of the greatest Centers of all time. His b-ball skills is undeniable.

Having said that, however, this guy is arguably the most pretentious, arrogant, overly-sensitve, egostistical man in professional sports history.

Lets check his rap sheet:

-After his departure from the Orlando Magic was partly due to the fact that he thought Penny Hardaway, who was a young star at the time, was stealing his thunder and taking his spotlight.

-During his successful tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, he made enemies with Kobe Bryant, which is very highly publicized. He also slandered Phil Jackson, his former coach, and Jerry Bus, former owner.

-In Miami, after Stan Van Gundy was let go by the Heat, Shaq called him the "Master of Panic".

-And now, Shaq is in the middle of a childish verbal sh*t talking with Jim Rome via Twitter.

I have a chance to work as a firefighter in Phx, AZ or live in Brazil and not have to work. what should I do?

I speak Brazilian Portuguese, and have been to Brazil several times for my sport. I have a steady flow of income that would be like living off of $75,000/year in the US. My health care would be taken care of living there, as well.
Recently, I was offered a job in a paid fire academy in Phoenix, Arizona.
Is it wrong to want to live in Brazil and sort of be a beach bum?
I have already served my community honorably in another capacity. I am almost 28 years old. What should I do?
I know the two options aren't bad, but I'm paralyzed by the opportunity costs of taking one and "missing out" on the other.

Sometimes, when an issue matters a lot to you, it is difficult to step back and see simple problems with one of the options you have and having someone point that out, or otherwise offer advice can make a world of difference.
I think that asking for advice on difficult life choices is the best way to learn from life experiences without having to suffer the consequences of learning the "hard way"...

Who is better, LeBron James or Kobe Bryant?

Kobe fans: If you can come up with this much evidence.....forget it...you can't because LBJ is better.

FIRST OF ALL, lets look at their playoff STATS. LeBron averaged 29.1 points in the playoffs. Kobe averaged 29.2 points. Wow. Big difference. LeBron James averaged 9.3 REBOUNDS PER GAME. Kobe only averaged 6 rebounds per game. LBJ averaged 8... ASSISTS per game. This guy is an amazing passer and team leader. He MAKES his teammates better. LeBron can set up plays like a point guard. Even if he doesn't get the assist, he contributes to the play by setting up the shot. Kobe only gets 5 assists a game, and he doesn't set the plays. In fact, let's say Kobe has to either take a very tough shot that he knows he won't make or pass it to the open Pau Gasol. He would take the shot and miss it 80% of the time. LeBron James has surpasses Kobe in the defensive end of the floor. He is a better on-ball defender, and shot blocker. LBJ gets 1.7 steals per game, while Kobe gets only 1.4. That's actually a pretty big difference when it comes to steals. LBJ is also an amazing shot blocker. LBJ gets 1.8 blocks per game, while kobe only gets 0.7. Finally, one of the most important categories to compare is field goal percentage and 3 point percentage. This is an analysis of how many shots you take and how many you make. LBJ's field goal percentage is 0.502 and his 3 point percentage is 0.400. That is very efficient. Kobe has HORRIBLE percentages. His field goal percentage is 0.458 and his 3 point percentage is 0.374. That is horrible. That means that Kobe jacks up a LOT of shots per game, but he only makes a little.
These are PLAYOFF performances. For those who say that LBJ chokes in the playoffs, well he doesn't. LeBron plays AMAZING in the playoffs. He plays way better than Kobe. The only reason the Cavs got eliminated was because LeBron's teammates chocked. Antwan Jamison, who was supposed to play great, only got 5 points. LeBron got 27 points, 10 assists and 19 rebounds in Game 6 vs the Celtics. Those are AMAZING stats, and that was a great performance by LeBron. But the Cavs lost even though LeBron played well because his teammates didn't show up. On the other hand, Kobe has amazing teammates. Kobe played HORRIBLE in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He shot 24 SHOTS but he only made 6 of them. That is sad. And yet, the Lakers won because Pau Gasol, Ron Artest, and Derek Fisher really played well. Basketball is a team sport, not an individual sport. That is why LeBron doesn't have a championship ring. LeBron had horrible teammates who do well in the regular season, but they choke in the playoffs. LeBron played AMAZING, but his teammates FAILED and the Cavaliers lost. Kobe played HORRIBLE, but his teammates SUCCEEDED and the Lakers won.
For the people who say that Kobe is more clutch and better at last second shots, actually LeBron is better at last second shots. The only reason the Cavs didn't need last second shots was because LeBron took care of business early in the game. Instead of jacking up a last second shot to win by 1 point, the Cavs always won by 8 or 10 points. LeBron has a higher percentage of making second shots. Some people like to say LeBron quit in the playoffs. HE DID NOT QUIT. He had a triple-double in Game 6. That is an amazing feat. ONce again, the Cavs only lost because LeBron's teammates played horrible. Kobe quit in the playoffs in 2006 vs the Phoenix Suns. Look it up. Kobe is the one who quit.

Cleveland is a garbage city. No one wants to play for Cleveland. LeBron James tried really hard to convince Chris Bosh to come play with him in Cleveland, but Bosh said no. In the 1980s, Kareem Abdul Jabbar went to the Lakers to play with Magic Johnson. Scottie Pippen went to Chicago in the draft to play with Michael Jordan. Jordan and Johnson were in great positions because other great players came to play with them. BUt, LeBron's situation is different. Cleveland is a crappy town, and people didn't want to come to Cleveland. So, LeBron was forced to leave. If he stayed in Cleveland, his crappy teammates would've failed again, and he would never win a championship. So, LeBron went to Miami to play with Wade and Bosh. There's nothing wrong with having lots of help on your team. Magic Johnson is considered the 2nd best player of all time, and he had LOTS of help. He had the amazing Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and lets not forget, he had all-star James Worthy. LeBron will average a TRIPLE-DOUBLE in Miami. You know how hard that is. Kobe NEVER got a triple double. A triple double is when you get double digit assists, double digit points, and double digit rebounds. LeBron will be the PLAYMAKER in Miami. His assists will be very high. His points will remain very high, and his rebounding will go WAY up. LeBron will still have monster stats in MIAMI. LeBron will still be the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.

So after that analysis, I conclude that LeBron is the best

im researching ways to get something going in my life, unfortuneately i live in a very small area of in northwest ohio where there really isnt much oppertunities for you unless you want a career in factory or restaurant which neither i do, i cant afford to nor would i be accepted to any universities in my home area so about the best thing for me to do that doesnt involve me moving away from family and friends is something cheaper like a community college but in my area there is only one community college and i tried it for a few weeks and really didnt like it, plus there really isnt much available that im interested in at that community college and im the type of person that if i take a college course that im not interested in even if it will be a good career, then it will be a waste of time cause if im not fully 100% interested in it i wont be motivated to do it and have a good chance of not finishing it so again i have a good chance of failing so i thought maybe an online degree and i looked at the university of phoenix and they have sports management and i would LOVE to do something like that so im sure ill be motivated to get it done and be a job ill be happy with, so just curious if anyone knows how much would it cost to get this done? like per credit cause i hear thats how they do it? if its expensive is there somewhere online i can do it cheaper that is reliable? is this a good place to get it? i mean obviously i know not the best im sure but for someone in my situation i couldnt afford to go to a university nor would i be accepted im sure so thats a prayer, need to go somewhere cheaper and better chance for me to get this done? other desires i like is cooking and film making but those are really something you dont do online but at hands on colleges and there isnt anywhere to do those around here. any information will be greatly appreciate!! thanks alot in advance

I am 19 years old very good with children ages new born to 10+ I have babysat for 5 years and also volunteered for a kindergarten at Challenger Elemenetry located in Victorville, CA. I am very energetic, fun, honest, and reliable. I will do light house cleaning, cook meals, help with homework, outside activities such as sports, walks, and swimming. I will be able to show proof of my work, along with a resume. I do not smoke and I am comfortable around pets.

Schedule and pay:
Based on my expirence with children and jobs, I feel like I deserve at least 9-10 an hour. I just been laid off from my job so I am looking for something quick. Kobe Bryant did something Michael Jordan never
did -- score 50-plus in four consecutive games.
Hasn't won more titles.

But he's a better player.

Kobe can do everything Michael did, and even a few things Michael couldn't do.

Kobe is just as good a defender. His killer instinct is just as pronounced. He can shoot, finish and explode. And just like Jordan, the more he's pissed off, the more unstoppable he is.

At the very least, Kobe's scoring spree over the last week should put to rest any lingering doubts that he's the best player in the NBA. Yes, better than Steve Nash, who is the best point guard, but not the lethal force that Kobe is. Yes, better than Dwyane Wade, who is certainly closer to the Kobe-Jordan level than LeBron James, but D-Wade's game is not as polished as Kobe's.

Kobe's streak of four straight 50-points-plus games is something none of those players can do, and it's something that hasn't been done since Wilt Chamberlain, who had an NBA-record seven straight 50-point games. Truthfully, Kobe should have tacked another 50 on Golden State on Sunday night.

Of course, the idea that Kobe is better than Jordan -- or even the best player in this league -- is as repugnant to some folks as a rectal exam. Even though Kobe has proven himself under pressure countless times, he gets the A-Rod treatment.

Kobe can't please anyone. And it doesn't help that most people suffer from revisionist history when it comes to Jordan, forgetting that he was just as poor a teammate and a ball hog and that he ran off coach Doug Collins like Kobe ran off Phil Jackson the first time.

In fact, you could argue that Jordan was even worse. Far as we know, Kobe hasn't jacked up any of his teammates the way Jordan punched out Steve Kerr and Will Perdue at practice.

Kobe will never be forgiven for Shaq's departure, but you're delusional if you think Jordan wouldn't have had any ego issues playing alongside a player with Shaq's star power.

The best-player argument shouldn't be determined by personal dislike. But if you want to take it there, fine. Jordan was hardly the ideal husband, but only the tabloids were brave enough to venture into his personal life. And what about those gambling issues? If Jordan's life had been covered like Kobe's, we would have an entirely different opinion of His Airness.

Besides a different level of media scrutiny, there was definitely a difference in the level of competition during Jordan's heyday compared to now.

We ask you to step back and take an objective look. Isn't Kobe the best player in the NBA?
Yesterday's NBA player certainly was more fundamentally sound, but there's no question that today's player is bigger, stronger and faster. When Jordan played, he was a singular force that could not be equaled. Jordan was guarded by the likes of John Starks and Joe Dumars, who were fine players but weren't nearly as skilled or physically imposing as LeBron, D-Wade, Tracy McGrady or even Vince Carter.

The NBA is tougher now.

Kobe, like Michael, is surrounded with mediocre to below-average talent, and Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio are all better than the Utah, Portland and the Charles Barkley-led Phoenix team that Michael met in the NBA Finals.

Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson and Patrick Ewing will be among the best centers ever, but none of them affected the league the way Shaq and Tim Duncan have. There are two two-time MVPs in Kobe's own conference (Duncan, Nash), which is a problem Jordan never faced during his championship runs. Seven-footers weren't launching 3s back then. Magic Johnson and the Lakers were on a downward spiral, and the Pistons were on their last legs. It was Michael and everyone else. That's not the case for Kobe.

The shame of it is that Kobe might finish his career without a MVP, even though his ability can be compared only to that of Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. All this time we've been looking for a player who is better than Jordan, but most of us can't get beyond whether we like or dislike Kobe as a person to recognize his contributions to the game.

Ultimately the MVP award will go to either Nash or Dirk Nowitzki, who are deserving this season, but neither are as good as Kobe. Dallas and Phoenix are strong enough to make the playoffs without their stars. The Lakers, however, are a lottery team without Kobe.

I signed up at a 24 hour fitness in Phoenix. I explained to the salesman that i live in Las Vegas most of the time and if i would i have access to the clubs in that area. He said that i could go to any club i wanted. Loandbehold i get to Vegas and after 1 month I am told that i am unable to go to the gym of my choice because it is a super sport and that costs more money. Contract does say there are 3 tiers of membership, but that was never explained to me. Actually would have stayed at my other gym if i knew the cost would be $30 more. Their problem or mine?

Lol i just dont understand why the Suns couldnt draw all these fouls at Staples Center? All of a sudden when the series goes to Phoenix they are the masters of drawing fouls? And dont sit there and say its because the Lakers "took jump shots" or its because of the Suns "zone defense".....because the Suns are not showing the Lakers anything new or something they dont already know how to deal with. Phil Jackson is not a noob and the Lakers are all experienced playoff veterans now. This same crap happened with the OKC Thunder series where when they got to their homefloor, they suddenly shot 1,876 free throws compared to the Lakers 2 (LOL) and then when the series when back to LA the officiating became pretty even again and the Lakers win in a blow out. But we were made to believe it was because "the Thunder were young and had a fast paced game", even though the Lakers put on a 30 point beat down beginning in first quarter and lasting until late 4th, when Phil began taking starters out. Face it, the refs play a major factor in the playoffs and the NBA is a controlled sport in the interest of profit....just like any other pro sport, and i bet you anything players are made to realize this before they sign that contract. I still think the plan is to have a Boston/LA rematch, but i also think the plan was to rigg up a few home games to make up for the Semi Finals, in which the NBA missed out on a lot of money. (Suns swept, Lakers swept, and Magic swept.)
Also look at this video and dont you think if any other player besides this one or a few other stars had made a statement like this he would have been in big trouble by Stern?

Hockey is more of a popular sport in Canada and there will be more revenue in Canada. Isn't the NHL a business in which they are looking to make the most money possible. Basketball is by far the most popular team sport in the Philippines. It has been played for nearly a century in the Philippines, brought over by the Americans, and the PBA (Philippine Basketball League) has been in existence since 1975, with professional leagues prior to it having a healthy following.

Despite this widespread interest in basketball among the general populace in the Philippines, the PI have not sent a single player to the NBA. What gives? It's not height, exactly, since 5'10" Yuta Tabuse of Japan made the Phoenix Suns, and other short players have been able to play in the NBA. It's not money, either, since many much poorer countries than the PI have also managed to send at least one player to the NBA.

With this and other evidence that the Policy and positions of the Obama administration run counter to the will of the people can it be said that:OBAMA IS GOVERNING AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE???

The Mexican American Political Association and the Southern California Immigration Coalition demonstrated outside Monday night's NBA playoff game at the Staples Center.

The groups are angry with the position Lakers coach, Phil Jackson, recently took on the immigration debate.

Jackson was asked two weeks ago about the Phoenix Suns wearing their Los Suns jerseys in protest during a playoff game. He said Arizona was taking federal law and putting some bite into it.

On Monday, Jackson issued a statement saying he is wary of putting sports organizations in the middle of political controversies. He says his earlier statements should not be used by either side to rally support.

"I've been involved in a number of progressive political issues over the years and I support those who stand up for their beliefs. It is what makes this country great. I have respect for those who oppose the new Arizona immigration law, but I am wary of putting entire sports organizations in the middle of political controversies. This was the message of my statement," he said.

"I know others feel differently, even in the Lakers organization, but it was a personal statement. In this regard, it is my wish that this statement not be used by either side to rally activists," he added.

Activists want the Lakers to put on the Los Lakers jerseys they wore for a game on March 21 to honor Hispanic fans. Lakers spokesman John Black says those jerseys will not be worn during the playoffs.

If Robert Sarver is so pro-illegal immigrant, to call his team “Los Suns,” maybe he should just move the team to Mexico City, where they could be called “Los Soles” every night of the season.



His use of Cinco de Mayo as the excuse for changing the players’ uniforms is in very bad taste, when 70 percent of Arizona residents support Senate Bill # 1070. And should the Cardinals and the Diamondbacks, they can go south of the border also, if they want to play politics, rather than sports.?

Imagine thousands of people were sneaking into Phoenix Suns games without tickets. The management would quickly crack down on the "undocumented spectators." Security personnel would engage in "profiling" - singling out younger male fans wandering around without obvious seats. They would want to see some "papers" - ticket stubs. Those lacking documentation would be deported out of the arena, or, in some cases, arrested.

Suns owner Robert Sarver seems to think that the rules that apply to his for-profit local monopoly should not apply to the state of Arizona. After a unanimous team vote held at his house, Mr. Sarver ordered his players to wear "Los Suns" jerseys during last night's Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals. The move is an explicit protest against the new immigration law, which Mr. Sarver says calls into question "our basic principles of equal rights and protection under the law."

The mangled Spanish jerseys (a literal translation would be "Los Soles") were first produced four years ago as part of the NBA's annual "Noche Latina" marketing campaign. Saskia Sorrosa, NBA senior director of Hispanic marketing, explained that "Noche Latina is an opportunity for us to thank the Hispanic community for their support and showcase how their pride and passion impact our teams and players." The campaign attempts to tread the fine line between marketing and pandering to a demographic that makes up an estimated 15 percent of the NBA fan base.

Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said the point of the jerseys was not to make "a huge political statement" but to "celebrate the diversity that exists here in Arizona." Yet diversity is not at issue, criminality is. Arizona's immigration law is not, as its frenzied detractors seem to think, a legal form of ethnic cleansing. It simply seeks to put into effect the existing federal laws that the Obama administration is either unwilling or incapable of enforcing.

With 70 percent of Arizonans backing the tough immigration stance, the Suns risk alienating a significant number of fans. ESPN asked whether it was appropriate for the Suns to "take a stand against the Arizona immigration law" in an online poll yesterday. Fifty-seven percent in Arizona answered no, slightly higher than the 55 percent negative response nationally.

It's never a good idea to mix sports and politics. A sports team should be a focus of unity in a community, not a source of division. Sporting events should be a refuge from politics, a safe haven from the growing partisan divide. Teams should not be used as sounding boards for the personal political views of the team owner or players. Sports franchises are granted monopoly privileges in their communities and in return assume special responsibilities. One of them should be to stick to the sports arena and stay out of the political arena.

So while millionaire athletes become walking billboards for a political cause, the state of Arizona might want to review the terms of its relationship with the Suns. If Mr. Sarver wants to use his team to push a political agenda, perhaps citizens can push back. Imagine Phoenix residents channeling the spirits of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. by turning up en masse to Suns games, sneaking in without tickets, demanding special services like free food and access to box seats, overtaxing arena security and ruining the game for the people with tickets. They can call it a celebration of diversity.

Last night the Phoenix Suns wore "Los Suns" on their jerseys in support of the Latino fans who protest the Arizona immigration law. The game was played on Cinco De Mayo and they whipped the Spurs btw. Anyoo....the question is should sports oorganizationsuse their visibility to support or protest issues that have a dramatic effect on their fans or should they stick to sports and leave politics alone? This may be the first time that an entire sports organization protested a moral issue since Jackie Robinson and a few other supporters forced the MLB to postpone opening day for Martin Luther King's funeral in 1968. Even then the act was initiated by an individual and not an entire organization. What do yo think?
