Phoenix is over 150 miles from the Arizona/Mexican border yet, cops from Phoenix like Sheriff Joe Arpaio are very vocal about illegal immigration and have conflicting stories when it comes to illegal immigrant crime and border crossing numbers. What they say about illegal immigrant crime is totally different from what cops say that patrol border towns. Most border town authorities say that crime has not gone up and numbers are exaggerated, they don't see all the violence Phoenix cops talk about at the border, and especially the beheadings that turned out to be a lie. So who should we believe when it comes to illegal immigration; cops patrolling border town, or cops 150 miles away with conflicting stories and statistics?==============================
Violence is not up on Arizona border despite Mexican drug war
NOGALES, Ariz. - Assistant Police Chief Roy Bermudez shakes his head and smiles when he hears politicians and pundits declaring that Mexican cartel violence is overrunning his Arizona border town.
"We have not, thank God, witnessed any spillover violence from Mexico," Bermudez says emphatically. "You can look at the crime stats. I think Nogales, Arizona, is one of the safest places to live in all of America."
While smugglers have become more aggressive in their encounters with authorities, as evidenced by the shooting of a Pinal County deputy on Friday, allegedly by illegal-immigrant drug runners, they do not routinely target residents of border towns.
In Yuma, police spokesman Sgt. Clint Norred said he cannot recall any significant cartel violence in the past several years. Departmental crime records show the amount of bloodshed has remained stable despite a substantial population increase.
Even Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever, among the most strident critics of federal enforcement, concedes that notions of cartel mayhem are exaggerated. "We're not seeing the multiple killings, beheadings and shootouts that are going on on the other side," he said.
"I think the border-influenced violence is getting worse," Villasenor said. "But is it a spillover of Mexican cartel members? No, I don't buy that."

According to Juan Varela's family, SB 1070 isn't just a civil rights travesty: it has also caused the death of at least one Arizona Latino.
Varela was shot dead after an argument with a white neighbor, Gary Thomas Kelley, over Arizona's harsh new anti-immigrant law. Despite the fact that Varela was a U.S. citizen — in fact, he was a third generation American — Kelley allegedly yelled before shooting Varela, "You fucking wetback! Go back to Mexico!" Back? When he was born in America? Varela's family blames the extreme anti-immigrant, anti-Latino sentiment caused by fear mongering around the passage of SB 1070 for the death of their loved one.
The Phoenix Police Department has finally decided to charge Kelley with a hate crime, after initially refusing to do so, raising the ire of Varela's family and friends. That the crime occurred in Maricopa County, home to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who spends so much time chasing down undocumented immigrants he doesn't have time to prosecute violent crimes, gives both a sense of the extreme anti-immigrant climate and why law enforcement would be loathe to admit to what appears to be an obvious anti-Latino hate crime. I don't know about you, but I think shooting a person after shouting a xenophobic racial slur has hate crime written all over it, and I'm glad that the Maricopa County Attorney General's Office now agrees.
Varela's murder isn't the only one with links to SB 1070. Two other Latino men were killed near the Arizona border earlier this month, and while some reports have tried to pin the crime on drug smugglers, there are two additional details to the story that suggest otherwise.

The city I live in right now is like 80 percent White and 18 percent Black. So I am kind of the only Indian here. Changed me in many ways though, I don't sound Indian (no Indian accent), parents aren't traditional so they don't care what race or ethnicity I date and I am not a Hindu.

what should i do with my remaining neon tetra?
i had 6 neon tetras, but 5 of them have either been killed or they died. the one that was left has been bitten. i dont want to add anymore to the big tank. the only other tanks i have are a 10 gallon (divider in half) and a 3 gallon (will be housing a betta)i was thinking about putting in with my red betta phoenix, but the only problem is its only 5 gallons (he is in 1 half of the 10 gallon) and i know neons like to be in groups of 6 or more.
i dont think the petshop will take it back because its back was bitten and i think either some of its skin or scales are missing

so a little background..
I have been having issues with certificates and youtube videos loading. my internet is 15mb download speed. and i use to be able to load 1080p youtube videos in about 10 seconds or less. now i have to pause and go make dinner on some of them to be able to watch without it pauzing to load. I have also noticed that my computer will spend an hour or so moving a 20gb file from one hard drive to another... this use to take about 3 to 4 minutes TOP... sometimes less then a minute.
BUT.. i recently upgraded to windows 7 and i feel that since then my PC performance has been sub par. (but ony in some areas... i can play hardcore computer games at full graphics like Dirt 2 without error) so i am thinking that maybe my Motherboard and my bios are not up to date for windows 7. i dont know how to update them.. i am not sure how to find out what type of mother board i even have...
the main problem is that when my computer is not running any programs according to task manager.
and i try to move a big file it will take a long time... but my processor and my memory monitor never has them above 10%... why wont my computer use more of its memory and processor... (thats why i have more of them i might as well have 2 gb ram it wouldnt be any different.)
any thoughts?
extra info... my computer defrags the harddrive every wednesday... and this install of windows 7 is only about a month old.

Moving to Seattle or nearby with friend from out of state, but am lost as to how to go about it, HELP!?
HiSo i currently live in Phoenix, Arizona and at the end of September am planning on moving up to Seattle with one of my friends, i am 20 and he is 19 and this is both our first moves by ourself's. Now my mother has agreed to back me financially for the first few months (she would do longer but i want to pay for it on my own) while i find a job, now my friend is tagging along on this move as i said and will bum on my couch for awhile, until he finds a job, then our plan was when we both had incomes to get a 2br place together, but the problem is i cant figure out how to get to that part, by that i mean where we will stay until then, i have looked into some sublets / temporary housing on craigslist, but most wont work for us, and for that matter, are exceptionally more expensive than they should be, the reason i was looking at that as a housing method is so i wouldn't get caught up in a lease i wouldn't be able to get out of when the time came to get the 2br place, i mean from some of the pricing i saw on the sublets / temporary housing i might as well just rent the 2br place off the bat, im looking to hopefully not spend more that $800 not including things like utility's on the 2br (before we split the cost) which seems easy enough though i still might get a 1br place because it would be cheaper to start, but then i gotta figure out about the lease sublets / temporary, i figure we will need at least till the end of December to get a steady income to afford (is it possible to get a 3 month lease?), also the problem is i will not be able to see any of the places until we get up there, so what should i do about that? please i need some advice on what i should do, I've planned as much as i can, but now i'm up against a wall, anything would be helpfull

They have already sued the State of Arizona and two counties in Arizona. In Sept 2008 ICE gave Joe a clean bill of health saying his actions were proper when it came to handling illegal aliens. And In Mar 2009 Eric Holder started investigating Sheriff Joe again. Now they are suing Joe Arpaio. And their complaint? He's not providing them with enough records.It looks to me if the Justice Department wanted to REALLY do some good they would be leaving Joe alone and doing more to catch illegals.

Signs in Arizona warn of smuggler dangers

The federal government has posted signs along a major interstate highway
in Arizona, more than 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, warning
travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and a
local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the
state.
The signs were posted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) along a
60-mile stretch of Interstate 8 between Casa Grande and Gila Bend, a
major east-west corridor linking Tucson and Phoenix with San Diego.
They warn travelers that they are entering an "active drug and human
smuggling area" and they may encounter "armed criminals and smuggling
vehicles traveling at high rates of speed." Beginning less than 50 miles
south of Phoenix, the signs encourage travelers to "use public lands
north of Interstate 8" and to call 911 if they "see suspicious
activity."

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer condemned what she called the federal
government's "continued failure to secure our international border,"
saying the lack of security has resulted in important natural
recreational areas in her state being declared too dangerous to visit.
In a recent campaign video posted to YouTube, Mrs. Brewer - standing in
front of one of the BLM signs - attacked the administration over the
signs, calling them "an outrage" and telling President Obama to "Do your
job. Secure our borders."
BLM spokesman Dennis Godfrey in Arizona said agency officials were
surprised by the reaction the signs generated when they were put up this
summer.
"We were perhaps naive in setting the signs up," he said. "The intention
of the signs was to make the public aware that there is potential
illegal activity here. But it was interpreted in a different light, and
that was not the intent at all."
He said there should be "no sense that we have ceded the land," adding
that no BLM lands in Arizona are closed to the public.
"I kind of liken it to if I were visiting a city I were not familiar
with and asked a policeman if it were safe to go in a particular area,"
Mr. Godfrey said.
Rising violence along the border has coincided with a crackdown in
Mexico on warring drug gangs, who are seeking control of smuggling
routes into the United States.
Mexican President Felipe Calderon has waged a bloody campaign against
powerful cartels, yesterday announcing the arrest of Texas-born Edgar
"La Barbie" Valdez - a powerful cartel leader captured outside of Mexico
City on Monday evening.
More than 28,000 people have died since Mr. Calderon launched his
crackdown in late 2006, and the bloodshed shows no sign of ending. Law
enforcement authorities have been warning for more than two years that
the dramatic rise in border violence eventually would spread into the
U.S.
T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, which
represents all 17,500 of the Border Patrol's front-line agents, said
areas well north of the border are so overrun by armed criminals that
U.S. citizens are being warned to keep out of those locations.
"The federal government's lack of will to secure our borders is
painfully evident when signs are posted well north of the border warning
citizens that armed and dangerous criminals are roaming through those
areas with impunity," he said. "Instead of taking the steps necessary to
secure our borders, politicians are attempting to convince the public
that our borders are more secure now than ever before.
"Fortunately, some responsible civil servants are candidly warning the
public about the dangers that exist not just along the border but, in
some cases, well beyond," he said. "This situation should alarm all
sensible people, and should spur endless demands that our legislators
take whatever actions are necessary to restore law and order to these
areas."

What do I need to upgrade my old computer?
I'm a graphic design student. And my computer has worked fine these few years I've had it. However, seeing with all the massive files and stuff I need to open now to do assignments... my computer is slow and stuff, so I want to upgrade it. I just do not have money to buy a new one.I know if I take my computer to the computer store, they can tell me what I can upgrade, and what not. However, I would like to know now, cause they have the price list online, so I want to work out how much it will cost.
Firstly I know I HAVE to upgrade my RAM... I think that is the biggest problem. I only have a Gig. And, I have 2 open slots in my motherboard. I already checked, I can add another 2GB RAM to my Motherboard... suprisingly, the store in my city still sells compatible RAM yay!
Next, I suspect I’m gonna need a new graphics card... I have an idea that I’m running on on board graphics right now.It looks terrible when I scroll and stuff, I'll get the professional people's opinions, however if I need one, which would be compatible with my motherboard? DesMuMe sends computer into hibernate?
Okay so here’s the story. Recently I downloaded a Nintento DS emulator called DesMuMe (before I continue fuck you on the legalities, alright? Thanks). I’ve been playing Phoenix Wright games mostly, along with Professor Layton games. That’s it really. But I digress. I’m having a problem and it didn’t start until I started using the emulator.See, when I have the emulator open, after an indistinguishable about of time (it seems to be almost random) while I’m using it, my computer will go into Hibernation mode. Just like that. One minute I’m cross-examining a murder witness with bouncing boobies while Miles Edgeworth objects everything, the next minute bam. Black screen. Hibernate. Just like that. No prompting, no buttons are hit. Nothing. I don’t know why it’s doing this and for the life of me I’ve tried everything, including deleting and redownloading the emulator and all the roms. I am seriously out of options. I Googled the shit out of what’s happening and I can’t seem to bring up any results. I am, apparently, the only person on the whole internet having this problem.
I’m running 64-bit Windows 7 if that helps anyone. I would really like some kind of an explanation for what’s going on with my poor computer. Can anybody think of anything at all that would make my computer do this? And more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?

when i was 8 months old my parents took me to phoenix arizona and i've lived all my life there. I had recenlty been deported about 3 months ago and i want to go back but legally. i have no clue what to do, and if there is a way, what's the fastest.the reason for deportation: my dad and i got pulled over at a regular DOT point while workin and immigration was there along with the department of transportation. You've heard a lot about the Justice Department's lawsuit to stop the new Arizona immigration law. But that's just one part of the Obama administration's multi-front war on immigration enforcement in Arizona.In addition to the drive to kill the new law, Attorney General Eric Holder is also suing the Maricopa Community College system in Phoenix, alleging it broke the law by requiring a job seeker to provide a green card before being hired. And on Thursday the Justice Department filed suit against the Maricopa County Sheriff's office, run by the flamboyant Joe Arpaio, as part of an extended investigation into alleged civil rights violations there.
Despite the splash of attention from the newest lawsuit, the Justice Department's investigation of Arpaio could end badly for Holder. When the Department first informed Arpaio that a probe was under way, back in March 2009, it sent a letter saying the investigation would focus on "alleged patterns or practices of discriminatory police practices and unconstitutional searches and seizures." But now we learn that just six months before that, in September 2008, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, known as ICE, did its own investigation of Arpaio's office -- and gave it a clean bill of health. Arpaio's lawyers recently got a copy of the ICE report through the Freedom of Information Act.
ICE officials evaluated how the sheriff's office performed under a law that allows specially trained local law enforcement officers to enforce parts of federal immigration law. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, which is the largest sheriff's office in the Arizona, has 189 officers who have been trained by ICE to enforce federal immigration statutes.
The report, crammed with acronyms and bureaucratese, is not light reading. But struggle through it, and the key sentence is this: "The OI and DRO supervisors consider the conduct and performance of the MCSO ... officers to be professional and meeting the requirement of the MOA." Translated, that means officials from the Homeland Security Department's Office of Investigation (OI), along with officials from the Detention and Removal Operations office (DRO), concluded that the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), in its handling of illegal immigrants, acted in a professional manner and complied with a memorandum of agreement (MOA) under which the government gave them the authority to enforce federal law. That agreement included a ban on racial profiling.
ICE investigators also interviewed top federal officials involved in illegal immigrant cases in Arizona. They found an "excellent" working relationship between the sheriff's office and the feds. ICE talked as well to federal prosecutors in Phoenix, who described the cases brought by Maricopa County as "high quality."
In all, it's a quite positive assessment of an operation that just six months later would come under the Justice Department's microscope for alleged civil rights violations. It also lends indirect support to Arpaio's contention that the Justice Department investigation is politically motivated.
A tidbit of information contained in other government documents released under the Freedom of Information Act also suggests politics may be involved. Arpaio's lawyers found a March 11, 2009, e-mail, sent just after the Justice Department investigation was announced, from an ICE employee to John P. Torres, then the acting assistant secretary of ICE. "Did you see this?" the e-mail said, attaching a news report on the investigation. "Yes," Torres responded a few minutes later. "Interesting politics at play."
What happens now? It's been nearly a year and a half since the investigation began, and the Justice Department has not charged the sheriff's office with violating anyone's civil rights. Instead, Thursday's lawsuit goes after Arpaio for allegedly failing to cooperate fully in the probe.
"It's a totally political lawsuit," says Bob Driscoll, a former Bush Justice Department Civil Rights Division official who is representing Arpaio. "They want to find evidence of discrimination, but all they're finding is evidence of law enforcement that includes immigration enforcement." (The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment.)
Failing to find proof of real discrimination in Maricopa County could ultimately doom the administration's entire crusade in Arizona. The much-publicized suit against the new immigration law is based on the possibility that it might result in future discrimination, but at the same time the department is struggling to find evidence of civil rights violations in Arpaio's office, which uses enforcement techniques similar to those outlined in the new law. Lakersandi with the momentum, picks up Harris, who gets him in a headlock, but after a couple minutes of nearly falling unconscious and intense pressure, LS runs up the rope, sliced Bread! 1…2… JayJay somehow pulls LS out the ring onto the apron, but then LS hurricanerana’s JayJay into the fans! "It's a politician's worst nightmare: Drawing a complete blank in a high-profile debate.
That's what happened to Arizona GOP Gov. Jan Brewer, who lost her train of thought during her opening statement during her first televised debate with her Democratic challenger, state Attorney General Terry Goddard.
Brewer was in the middle of talking up her record in office. "We have done everything that we could possibly do," Brewer said, as she suddenly seemed at loss for words."We have, uh, did what was right for Arizona."
For several cringe-inducing seconds, she smiled and laughed as she struggled to come up with something to say. Here's the video:"

The stumble gave some pundits pause in part because Brewer -- who is getting national attention for her push for illegal immigration reform in her state -- is no stranger to controversy or primetime TV. As Politico's David Catanese observed, it was "a surprising performance for someone who has made repeated rounds on the national cable talk show circuit and has appeared mostly at ease during the give-and-take sessions."

In 1998 I picked up and ended my commercial apprenticeship with The Helm Corporation a Mechanical Contractor out of Denver and run a residential new construction Plumbing company with an endless number of Cracker Jack Box Homes to plumb. My Dad after 25 year Master Plumbing Career got licensed, bonded and insured a company of his own, got his "foot in the door" with a huge tract home developer in the epicenter of a booming housing market that transplanted 3 million Americans into Metro Phoenix and surrounding cities from 1980-2000... I learned every Phase of residential new construction plumbing underground's, top-out's, trims and that residential construction homes go up fast and cheap and after work I enjoyed frequenting a circuit of club's and bar's. I had racked up 3 DUI's by the motion of continuance to put off the damage(at the time a day in jail was damage) as long as I could from the first 1, and the 2nd, then I picked up the 3rd DUI in June 2001 and was book into jail with $30,000 bond, Indicted by a Grand Jury, and served threeClass 4 Felony's... June 25 2001 I was sentenced to the AZ DEPT. OF CORRECTIONS and released Feb 2004 with 4year's of probation. Let's say the 25 year old go getter that went on the Grey goose tour of Arizona wasn't the same and probation didn't last long... After a sick animal is rehabilitated and caged up the animal doesn't act the same after the "release" and most won't reintegrate back into the wild, right??? I was released Sept 2007 with 5 month's of parole, same old story except a few more of a man's greatest year's down the tubes violated parole and sent back to finish 3 month's of the parole completing the DOC term's for the DUI's. The beginning of my incarceration I was booked and sent to level 5, 4, 3 yard's throughout the years. Those last 3 months I had a spiritual awakening... I came to a point where I realized my life would never be and I could waste away in prison turning old and frail... Today I'm 34 and just passed the 12 month's of interlock ignition I was sentenced to with no alcohol fails, in fact I have been clean since 2007... last month I was late blowing into the machine on 3 separate occasion's due to a faulty ignition in my 4runner and still blew 000's 7, 8, and 9 minutes after the 3 requests to submit... The device locked up and I had to go to the calibration site, charged $75 and told the mvd would contact me about an extension which I soon received in the mail extending the interlock devise for another year. I requested a hearing with the Executive Hearing Office held yesterday over the phone. The judge can void the extension or continue the sanction. The violation is tampering to circumvent the IID in which I explained would be impossible to catch a buzz during the three 7, 8, and 9 minute period's that I didn't submit a sample... and blow 000''s directly after... I also explained that I have had no violation since fixing my ignition cylinder. The judge will vacate the extension directly after I send the receipt from the mechanic that fixed the ignition and I will be finished with those dui's from 2000/2001 completely... Now I can't find the receipt and have been thinking of forging one just to finally be rid of this... I left a message with the judge around 4pm yesterday and haven't heard anything back... I need some good suggestion's because the thoughts I'm having are unstable and self defeating but if printing up a receipt that I lost and faxing it to her can't hurt, right??? Do you think she will call the mechanic??? She said she just needed the document to write her decision out... My mechanic is sketchy and doesn't want to deal with the court's so this is what really foul's me up... If I tell the judge my mechanic doesn't want to deal with the court's what is going to think??? I think she said a 3 day hold is in place towards the end of the hearing, I hope that means I have 3 day's to fax the receipt???
I would like to thank you in advance for spending some time getting to know my dark past and ask that comment's are respectful and directed to solving the problem not what I could have done differently because the past is gone and I can't change it but I can recommend frequenting your local library's, find out what law's politician's are making, current event's, learn the law's that apply to you, there are MANY... I wish I would have known not having a license aggravated a DUI from a misdemeanor to a Felony...
Since I can't pick them all, I will do my best to choose what I think is the best solution...

PHOENIX — It will go down as one of the most painful openings to a political debate in recent memory.
Gov. Jan Brewer stumbled and stammered through her opening statement during a televised debate Wednesday night, suffering through an embarrassing, cringe-eliciting pause that lasted more than 10 seconds.
"We have, uh, did what was right for Arizona," Brewer said, using a grammatical misconstruction she uttered twice during the debate.

Misdemeanor for Excceding Speed limit in AZ; Can it effect employment for new Job ? Please help?
In November 2008 the Camera Monitor in Phoenix AZ caught me and said I was exceeding 85 mph; This was photo enforcement and it was the consensus not to go to court unless served and the cameras were taking down in July 2010. I was just made an offer for a new job pending my criminal back-ground check. I conducted one of the cheap back-ground online searches and it shows a misdemeanor for me in the criminal traffic charge. The claim amount shows zero. What does this mean and how will the company look at this. My job is environmental engineer, should I be worried.I have been told by many that most traffic tickets are either in-fractures or misdemeanor. I thought that companies were only concerned about felonies ?

i have been working nights and out of town lately and i have little to no time lately..anyhow im in phoenix arizona right now
im staying at a hotel that is about a mile away from any shopping centers or anything.. i was bored so i went for a walk in yesterday in 105 degree weather....(jesus christ)..
as i am heading to the store i see a little boxing gym called HAMMER boxing.. i walk in look around.. in my head i can beat ANYBODY in this gym.. i chalk it up to a cardio gym and went on about my business..
blah blah, we end up having to stay until tomorrow..
so today i am walking to the "hooters" restaurant in the shopping center.. i stop by the gym and say, "im from out of town, california, i wanted to maybe get some work in today"
trainer, "you have experience?"
thug, "yeah i fought amateur before"
trainer," are you the guy who just called here?"

trainer- do you want to spar?''

trainer "ok go warm up, do you have your gear?"

ok, this is like within 2 minutes of walking in this gym they are lacing me up... im like ok......?
so round one starts.... this guy was like 17 or 18 years old about 5'5'' 130 pounds... i threw a crisp jab and for the rest of the round i was like a moving punching bag!!!! focks sake this kid was cracking me clean!!! lol i was laughing kinda when he was hitting me cause i felt so sloppy.. i havent worked out in 3 weeks and i am ALL out of shape.. i didnt have my legs either, i think part of it was my shoes.. and i was hungover from the bar last night on my way to get my first meal of the day, so i was at like 50%
ok so im in the corner and i say, "man i am out of shape"

whenever i throw a jab he rushes me w fast combos.. really overwhelming me!! i got hit with like a 15 punch combo!!! i was in a focking tornado of gloves!! like somebody had a trash bag full of boxing gloves and dumped them on me!!! lol.. you know, like when you see a fighter getting hit with combos and they dont even know what is coming next, lol, that was me... i started to time him and catch him w the left hook.. but he still kicked my butt..
i was dead tired after round 2 that was it for me...

anyhow summary, these fools rolled out the red carpet for me to spar because they thought i was some hot shot from california.. i was wondering how the f*** i was able to get in the ring that fast!! they gave me a free mouthpiece.. they were representing arizona against california, but i was just a guy walking in NOT that guy.. they told me i got balls of steel for stepping in there.. tht i have a great jab.. gave me a couple of pointers.. they invited me to come back whenever i want.. that they were impressed and they need guys that can spar, but i need better cardio.. i kew i was out of shape but i thought it would be easy.. WRONG!!!! my nose is swollen a little but im cool.. we work nights so i havent been able to really do anything, but at least i have a story for arizona...
anyhow what do you think? is that crazy or what? why does crazy stuff like that happen to me??

your right.. i was at the right place at the right time.. i wouldnt of ended up anywhere else if it wasnt meant to be.. of all the hotels in phoenix i end up right by a boxing gym.. and i got to spar w a pro.. i lost but so what!! i love it!!! i was full of myself and had a humbling experience.. no regrets.. i love boxing.. i wasnt physically prepared as i thought i was.. but i am back on a steady schedule after tomorrow, so its back to my grind..

my favorite lyric from Motley Crue hails from their song "Primal Scream"... "If you wanna live life on your own terms, you gotta be willing to crash and burn". It's universal. Whether talking about something serious like a job or relationship or something not so serious like a dinner choice. It's all about the decisions you make and if you're willing to take the risk. You have to know there is the possibility that you'll fall flat on your ass. But that drives me so much more though, ya know? I don't want to sit back and let life pass me by. It's just the opposite. I want to show life what to do. So far, so good. I've taken a lot of risks on a lot of different levels, and the thing that keeps me going is the drive to NOT crash and burn, but also it's humbling to know that if I do, it's okay because I know I had the balls to do it.Make sense?
I've talked to a lot of tattoo artists and they all resort back to the concept of the Phoenix rising from some fiery something or another. They here change and fire and immediately go to that image. Blah. I'm not a prehistoric bird.

Jan Brewer's office says Arizona has received more than $2 million in donations to help pay for the legal defense of the state's controversial law targeting illegal immigration.Seven lawsuits were filed to challenge the law. Two have been dismissed, but a judge ruled on a suit filed by the U.S. Justice Department by blocking key provisions of the law from taking effect July 29.
Brewer is appealing that ruling.
